Dr. Yesim Canga Blair, Owner and Founder
Since I was 16, I have been passionate about coffee. Growing up in Düsseldorf, Germany, I spent countless hours in local coffee shops, where coffee became central part of my life as I met with friends, laughed, and just had a relaxing coffee chat. Over the years, I have followed my passion. As a rookie, I did various barista training in Costa Rica, Cuba and Guatemala, gaining firsthand experience in the vibrant coffee cultures of these regions. My journey continued globally, as I explored coffee in international cities and attended barista training events.
During my coffee studies at the Canadian Barista Institute in Montreal, I deepened my understanding of roasting, coffee sourcing, and running a coffee business. Furthermore, I consciously learned why it is important to produce good coffee and what values need to be taken into account in production until the customer can enjoy it at home. With a focus on ethical production and quality craftsmanship, I founded Chill Bean to share my passion for exceptional coffee. Every cup reflects my commitment to sustainability, artisanal expertise, and creating meaningful connections through coffee. Lemi Ozbarlas, Head of Production
Lemi is Yesim’s son and a true all-rounder. As an aspiring graphic designer at the Savannah College of art and design, he was always fascinated by the magic of the scents of food and beverages.
In recent years he has refined his coffee taste repertoire and supports Yesim in sales on social media.
